According to reports, Jamichael Jones, who is being accused of shooting and killing rapper, Trouble, is the ex-boyfriend of the woman Trouble was with.
The woman told authorities that she broke off her three-year relationship with Jones a week before the incident because he was allegedly joblessness and didn’t help with bills. Following the breakup, Jones allegedly punched her in the face and fled the scene.
Court documents reveal Trouble was asleep in the bed of his lady friend when Jones broke into the the woman’s home, punched her in the face and then began fighting Trouble. Jones then fired a shot into Trouble’s chest, and then took off. Authorities say they found the rapper laying on the floor when they arrived at the apartment.
A preliminary court hearing was set for June 15 by a judge after Jones turned himself in early Tuesday morning. He’s facing the felony murder, aggravated assault, battery and home invasion charges.
