According to a report, a white man hired a hitman with intentions of lynching him!
Reported on NYDN, a man in South Carolina will spend the next 10 years in prison. Brandon Cory Lecroy pled guilty “to trying to hire a hit man to kill his black neighbor, hang him from a tree and leave a burning cross in his yard, prosecutors said.”
An F.BI agent posed as the hitman and contacted Lecroy. The agent reportedly told Lecroy “$500 and he’s ghost,” according to an arrest warrant affidavit. After giving the agent an initial payment of $100, he was taken into custody.
Lecroy received the maximum 10-year sentence and three years of court-ordered supervision.
