YG recounted the time the police raided his home and drew guns on his two young daughters.

During an interview, YG opened up about his unwanted experience with the LAPD in January 2019. YG said the police raided his home at around four a.m. while he and his family were sleeping. Law enforcement banged on his door while a helicopter flew over his home. According to YG, When the cops came in, they drew guns on him, and his daughters, 6-months, and 4-years-old at the time.

“They go up in the room and they got the big AKs all in my little kids’ face like, ‘Don’t move!’ I’m like bro, What the f*ck is y’all doing? Y’all got me f*cked up! They doing this to my little kids! And these are little girls!”

Following the search at YG’s home, he was arrested and booked at LA jail with bail set at $250,000. YG was charged with robbery (which is a felony in California), but the details around the incident aren’t clear. Despite the legal situation, YG still made it perform at the Grammys for Nipsey Hussle’s posthumous tribute with Meek Mill, John Legend, DJ Khaled, and more.
