Online critics had their opinions. In YG’s comment section, most of his fans found the “new look” super funny, leaving a bunch of crying laughing emojis. One person even told YG that the actor Terry Crews, who also starred in White Chicks, needs to be in the music video.
In February, the West Coast rapper announced his sixth studio album, Pray For Me, which is underway later this year via Def Jam Records. The debut single is “Scared Money,” ft. J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo. The new album will be a follow-up to YG’s 2020’s My Life4Hunnid. The album had appearances from Lil Wayne, Lil Tjay, Chris Brown, Gunna, Ty Dolla $ign and many more.
During a past interview, while speaking about collaborations, YG said, “When I do the features I be doing, it’s always who would be unexpected or who I ain’t work with yet or who is really gonna do the record justice lyrically with bars.”
