YNW Melly is currently at a Florida prison for the murder of two of his friends.
The 20-year-old rapper, alongside another fellow YNW crew member, Bortlen, are on trial for the 2018 alleged murder of “YNW Sakchaser” Williams and Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas Jr.
It doesn’t appear as if Melly will be released any time soon, hence his cryptic 3/13 post (which was deleted). Fans thought he would be getting out but it turns out a remix of his song ‘Suicidal’ will be released that features a verse from Juice Wrld.
While Melly was in cour he was all smiles, showing no sign of fear. His family and a few friends showed up to support. However, some of them were kicked out because they were silently communicating with Melly.
Melly’s legal team is preparing for trial. Melly and Bortlen are both facing two counts of first-degree murder. Melly faces the death penalty if convicted.
