Young Thug is big on street code.

He took to Instagram to redefine the word loyalty and called Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel the definition of it. Young Thug also alluded to the idea that he wants to work with them when they’re released. In the caption, he wrote,

“When they get out I fasho got some for em.. real n*ggas are still on earth. Rewards don’t come with keeping it real but in this case IT DOES.”

Other rappers like Quavo chimed in under Thug’s post, “My brothas Kno What’s Up Wit Me Wen They Touch SHMIGO!” And YG  said, “On da gang.”

The GS9 rappers were arrested in 2014 on numerous charges which include conspiracy to commit murder and weapons and drug charges associated with GS9. Back in 2016, Bobby Shmurda plead guilty to murder conspiracy charges and accepted a 7-year deal that included time served. In an interview that same year, Bobby explained why he took a longer sentence. His answer was due to loyalty.

“I did it for Rowdy. They offered me five and offered Rowdy 12. They said the only way they’ll give him seven is if I took seven too. So, you know, I had to take one for the dawgs.”
