While many artists chase viral moments and streaming numbers, singer-songwriter and pianist Jason Bembry is taking a different route.
The independent musician continues to build momentum with his emotionally charged single “Frozen Hearts,” a record that reflects his commitment to storytelling, musicianship, and authentic human connection.
At 29 years old, Bembry has carved out a distinctive lane by blending classical music foundations with modern pop production. His songs feature cinematic arrangements, layered instrumentation, and deeply personal themes. That approach is helping him stand out in a music industry increasingly driven by short attention spans.
For Bembry, the key to creating lasting music starts with balancing sophistication and accessibility.
“I use classical music as the structure and pop music as the listener’s access point,” Bembry explained. “My favorite technique is to create lengthy chord progressions so the music feels like it’s speaking a full sentence along with the lyrics.”

That philosophy can be heard throughout his growing catalog, including “Frozen Hearts,” which continues attracting new listeners. Rather than relying on quick hooks, Bembry focuses on emotional depth and gradual storytelling.
The artist also challenged himself creatively in 2025 by releasing music every month, a demanding schedule that tested both his discipline and artistic vision.
“It was a huge challenge,” he said. “There is a lot of preparation and constant work being done in the background each month. After the releases, I was able to see what worked and what didn’t.”
Bembry views each release as part of a larger narrative.
“I wanted to tell a story,” he said. “How can I take my listeners on a full journey in just a year?”
Beyond the music itself, Bembry remains candid about the realities facing independent artists.
“Often times it’s not about talent or even who you know,” he said. “It’s about time and money. You can have thousands of people stream your music, but you only get paid $50 in royalties.”
With “Frozen Hearts” gaining traction and his cinematic approach resonating with audiences, Jason Bembry is steadily building a catalog centered on emotion rather than trends. As listeners search for deeper connections through music, the rising artist appears determined to deliver songs that leave a lasting impression.
