With hip hop being the NUMBER ONE genre in the world, you should definitely know about the power players behind the scenes. These five producers under 25 are the game changers of the culture, making history and the hits that we love!

Metro Boomin
The 25-year-old St. Louis native-born Leland Tyler Wayne got inspired to get into music after listening to Nelly’s “Country Grammer.” Nelly is also from St. Louis so it makes sense that he’d be influenced by someone from his hometown. Metro Boomin produced hit songs like “Ric Flair Drip,” “No Heart,” and “Rap Saved Me.”

Tay Keith
Born Brytavious Lakeith Chambers from Memphis Tennessee. The 22-year-old producer graduated from MTSU. Tay Keith was making hit beats while in college and could have decided not to finish but wanted to so he could feel “complete.” He earned his first number one for “Sicko Mode” that he co-produced.
