A new legal dispute has placed 50 Cent back in court. A former employee is alleging retaliation, harassment, and intimidation following the end of a long professional relationship. According to a complaint reported by TMZ, Monique Mayers says she spent more than a decade working in senior operational roles across her business ventures. The filing contends the relationship deteriorated after she declined to carry out requests she believed crossed legal boundaries. What began as a working partnership, the suit suggests, eventually gave way to a dispute. Now the case hinges on sharply different accounts.

In court documents, Mayers describes a series of alleged requests tied to a period of financial strain. These included being asked to place certain assets in her name. She also claims she was urged to submit a false police report involving a missing vehicle and a large sum of cash, which she says she refused. That refusal, she argues, led to her dismissal and marked a turning point in their relationship. Her complaint further alleges reputational harm. For example, she claims efforts to remove favorable media coverage and limit her professional standing.

Lawsuit Alleges Years of Harassment as Both Sides Dig In

The lawsuit goes on to describe what Mayers characterizes as a prolonged pattern of intimidation in the years that followed. She cites threatening messages, repeated calls, and ongoing harassment as part of her claims. These include emotional distress and invasion of privacy. Through the suit, she is seeking financial damages along with a court order to prevent any further alleged misconduct. The case, still in its early stages, has not yet been tested in court.

A representative for 50 Cent rejected the allegations. The representative described Mayers as a “disgruntled former employee who was terminated for cause over five years ago.” No rulings have been issued. The dispute is expected to unfold over time as both sides present their arguments.
