It looks like Colin Kaepernick may have found his next calling after football.

According to Vanity Fair, director Ava DuVernay is working on a comedy series based on the star NFL quarterback’s life during his high school years.

The 30-year-old was adopted by a white family in Wisconsin before moving to California to become a three sport star during his high school years.

No official word has come from DuVernay or Kaepernick yet, but this is definitely an exciting way to help tell his story, and show some of the awkward moments he must have ran into during high school.

Meanwhile, we are all waiting for the final testimony of the quarterback’s collusion case against the NFL. There has been rumors of any interested teams as of late.
