Is there another R. Kelly sextape roaming around?
A Pennsylvania man who was searching through his VHS tapes came across a tape labled “sports/R. Kelly,
and got a surprise he wasn’t ready for.
Gary Dennis handed over an alleged R. Kelly sextape to authorities, and called on Gloria Allred which together staged a press conference to announce the findings.
As addressed during the press conference in New York City, Dennis believe he would see R. Kelly concert footage, but instead was surprised to see a man who he believed to be R. Kelly after sexual relations with a girl he believed to be a minor.
“To my shock and surprise, R. Kelly appeared to be on the tape, but not in concert,” he said. “Instead he was sexually abusing underaged African-American girls. I was disgusted and horrified when I saw that.”
Lawyer Gloria Allred, who is representing multiple women in the R. Kelly case could not confirm fully whether the man on the tape was R. Kelly, by saying she was “ not 100 percent certain.”
The singer’s lawyer Steve Greenberg denies that his client has any video tape with underaged girls.
“It is not him,” he said. “He denies that he is on any tape with underaged girls.”
Lawyer Michael Avenatti believes it is just a copy of the 2001 sex tape video which was bootlegged and sold in flea markets and downloaded online.
The tape referenced by Ms. Allred today is most likely a copy of a tape that was sold at flea markets/street corners throughout Chicago in the early 2000s. Thousands of copies of the same tape were sold and prosecutors have known about it since approx. 2001. This is old evidence.

Over the last week, we have had 5 other individuals contact us with tapes that they claim show R. Kelly having sex with underage girls. Upon investigation, they don’t and the individuals would have no reason to have such a tape. Publicizing this “evidence” undermines the process.

R. Kelly has denied the allegations against him after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. He recently gave his side of the story during a sitdown interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning which aired in full on Friday (Mar. 8).
