Aoki Lee Simmons has called it quits with 65 year-old restaurateur, Vittorio Assaf.
According to a source close to Lee, “not only is it ‘over’, it was never a thing,” the insider tells PEOPLE. “Aoki is learning to navigate her private life in a public sphere. And that can be difficult. However, Kimora was concerned to see her daughter in that kind of relationship due to what she herself went through.”
The news comes after Lee went live on Instagram and seemingly confirmed the relationship.
The youngest daughter or Kimora and Russell Simmons was spotted kissing Assaf in St. Barths last week and since has had the internet in a frenzy with mixed reactions. The former couple went live as Aoki assured her friends and family that when she returns from her trip, they will be receiving a “better, more chilled-out” version of herself.
Welp…that was short lived.
