On January 20, 2017, Barack Obama said goodbye to the White House and the Trump era began.
The former President has been spending much of his time enjoying life as a private citizen once again, going on multiple vacations with his wife Michelle, and seeing his oldest daughter Malia go to college.
He sat down with Prince Harry for the BBC for his first real sit down interview since leaving office, and he had some interesting insight on his time as he watch Donald Trump take his oath for President.
