Beyoncé jokingly addresses her prop car malfunctioning during the Houston stop during the Cowboy Carter tour.

The incident, which occurred on June 28 at NRG Stadium, involved a suspended car prop unexpectedly tilting mid-performance, sending a momentary wave of concern through the crowd.

The terrifying moment unfolded as Beyoncé performed her song “16 Carriages,” seated atop a red car suspended in the air—a striking visual centerpiece of her tour’s elaborate stage design. Midway through the performance, the car began to dangerously tilt to one side. With calm urgency, Beyoncé could be heard telling her team, “Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” into her microphone.

Beyonce shared picture of the tour stop via Instagram with the caption, “Sittin’ Sidewayz’”.

Tina knowles shares heartfelt message:

As previously reported, Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, shared a heartfelt message to her daughter. “I came across this post today and it reminded me of this day, which I speak about in my book, Matriarch,” she writes. “Johnny and I finished this dress the morning of the pageant. My sister Selena hemmed it in the car while I drove to the venue.”

The post continued, “When we got there, there were tons of beautiful formal gowns that these little girls had on who had been training all of their lives for this moment. Beyoncé had never competed before, so I was like, I just knew she didn’t have a chance for anything…”
