Beyoncé is serving elegance while making big business moves. In a new Instagram video announcing that her Cécred haircare line is coming to Ulta, the 43-year-old icon stuns in a custom ivory Vivienne Westwood gown. The off-the-shoulder dress features a draped cowl neckline, a thigh-high slit, and the British label’s signature corset bodice. Beyoncé has a history of rocking custom Vivienne Westwood looks, including the dazzling sequin jumpsuit designed by the late fashion legend in 2018.
In the clip, the Grammy winner kicks things off by mouthing “world stop” from her 2014 hit “Feeling Myself” with Nicki Minaj. As her glam team steps in for final touch-ups, she waits before delivering the next line—“carry on”—as a fan blows through her flowing hair. The video then fades to black, revealing the major announcement: “Available exclusively at Ulta. Coming April 6th, 2025.”
With Beyoncé’s highly anticipated “Cowboy Carter” tour launching in April, fans are feeling the financial strain. One person joked, “Beyoncé my beloved queen, I only have two kidneys.” Another added, “no…YOU carry on. we are spent. see you at the tour and it better be 3 hours.” A third user echoed the sentiment, writing, “BEYONCÉ WE ARE TAPPED OUT!!!! WE DO NOT HAVE ANYMORE MONEY!!!”
Meanwhile, Cécred marked its first anniversary with a special drop. The release features a 14k gold-plated nameplate necklace ($100) designed by celebrity jeweler Alligator Jesus.
Beyoncé launched Cécred last February, calling it “transformation haircare for all.” Speaking to WWD, she explained, “My vision for Cécred has always been to be an inclusive force of excellence, investing in research, science and testing for all hair types.” Details on the Ulta launch are still limited. However, a rep confirmed it’s the largest exclusive hair brand release in the retailer’s history.
