It’s almost Rodeo season.

On Saturday (Feb.1), Beyoncé announced that the Cowboy Carter tour is coming soon. In one post, comprised of an Instagram reel, the words “Cowboy Carter Tour” hang from a blinking sign, on a deserted road. In a second post, the multi-Grammy-Award winner shares a headshot of herself with a black background, sporting platinum braids, and matching brows, with a bold, red lip. At the top of the photo reads, “Cowboy Carter Tour.”

It’s unclear if this tour was the announcement she prepared for Jan.14, before the California wildfires, but it couldn’t have come at a better time. The announcement coincenditally (or maybe not), coincided with the first day of Black History Month. Released in March 2024, Cowboy Carter was an ode to Beyoncé’s southern roots and hometown of Houston, Texas. The project also highlighted Black American’s influence on country music and cowboy culture. Cowboy Carter also featured many up-and-coming Black country artists like Shaboozey, Tanner Ardell, and Brittney Spencer.

As of today, no official tour dates have been released. Stay tuned to HOT97 for updates!

Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ Is Rolling Stone’s ‘Best Album Of The 21st Century’

Beyoncé‘s sixth studio album, Lemonade, is the “Best Album Of The 21st Century,” according to Rolling Stone. Released in 2016, Lemonade offered Beyoncé fans a sneak peek into her life and marriage with Jay-Z.

“Since the release of her self-titled fifth album in 2013, each Beyoncé volume has leveled up in some way,” Rolling Stone says. “Yet, Lemonade bests them all in storytelling, revelation, and cultural resonance.” The outlet continues: “In all, she’s accomplished, she has yet to meet the world as vulnerably as she does here, laying bare the trauma of her very famous husband’s infidelity to their marriage and the empire they built upon it.”

An accompanying visual came out with the album, bringing the singer’s words to life in more ways than one. Lemonade spawned several hits, including “Formation,” “Sorry,” “Hold Up,” and “Freedom.” It’s also been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Lemonade dropped after rumors swirled that the iconic couple had trouble in paradise amid allegations of infidelity on Jay-Z’s part.
