BigXThaPlug has officially bowed out of Lil Baby’s 2025 WHAM World Tour due to a recent foot injury.

In an emotional Instagram video, he shared the update with fans. “As most of y’all know, I hurt my foot about a week ago,” he said. “I will not be attending the WHAM Tour with Lil Baby.”

BigX was set to join Lil Baby, NLE Choppa, and Loe Shimmy on the international tour, which supports Lil Baby’s latest album, WHAM—an acronym for “Who Hard As Me.” The tour is moving forward without him, covering dates in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. His absence marks a shift in the show’s energy, especially for fans hoping to see his signature Southern style live.

Known for fusing gritty street tales with soulful melodies, BigXThaPlug gained widespread acclaim after his 2024 album Take Care broke into the Billboard Top 10. His raw storytelling, shaped by both struggle and resilience, helped cement his voice as one of the most original in Dallas hip-hop. The unexpected success of “All The Way,” a genre-spanning collaboration with country star Bailey Zimmerman, expanded his reach far beyond Texas.

While stepping away from the tour is disappointing, the decision reflects a deeper truth. Artists often face physical demands that force tough choices.

For BigXThaPlug, this moment isn’t failure—it’s recovery. The injury interrupts momentum but doesn’t erase it. Fans already flooding social media with well-wishes know he’ll return stronger.

His journey isn’t defined by one missed tour. It’s shaped by the grit that brought him here and the loyalty that surrounds him. Though his voice may be silent onstage for now, it still echoes through speakers and playlists across the country.

In an industry obsessed with constant motion, BigXThaPlug is choosing to heal. That choice, made in public view, adds a new layer to his growing legacy.

His path may have paused, but it hasn’t veered. The stage will wait. So will the fans.
