Last week, Blac Youngsta dropped F-ck Everybody 2, the second installment of his mixtape series. The first F-ck Everybody dropped in 2016. On the new project, Blac Youngsta taps his fellow Memphis native, Tay Keith, for assistance on the beats. Lil Pump is the sole feature on the mixtape. For his most recent push for the project, Blac Youngsta dropped the music video for “901.”
His main focus for the visual was to show the raw, uncut sights of where he was raised. Paying homage to your roots is something many rappers make sure they do, as it helped mold the experiences that inspire their art continuously.
“I didn’t want to go all over the city, I wanted to just show where I grew up from. I wanted it to be a little more ratchet,” he tells Billboard. “When I came in, I came in doing videos like that in the hood all day with guns and whatnot. So, this time I wanted to do the same thing but take the guns out.”
