Although still incarcerated, Blueface has regained limited access to the Las Vegas Strip. A Clark County judge lifted a prior restriction barring him from the area, court records show.
Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney issued the order Tuesday, allowing the rapper—whose legal name is Johnathan Porter—to enter the Strip and Downtown corridors solely for employment-related purposes. The modification marks the latest development in Porter’s ongoing criminal proceedings tied to a 2022 shooting outside a Las Vegas nightclub.
Porter, 28, is currently serving a four-year sentence in a California state prison for a separate probation violation stemming from an assault case. His parole eligibility date is listed as December 2025, according to state corrections records.
Blueface Allowed Back On The Strip
In the Nevada case, prosecutors initially charged Porter with attempted murder following a shooting outside Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in October 2022 that left one man injured. The victim told police he recognized the rapper from inside the club earlier that evening and later exchanged words with him before being shot in the hand. Court filings indicate the confrontation began after the victim joked about Porter “speaking with some females in a cheap vehicle.”
As part of a plea agreement, Porter later admitted to reduced charges of battery and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure. Judge Delaney sentenced him to probation of up to three years. While suspending a two-to-five-year prison term, contingent on compliance with court conditions.
Delaney subsequently issued a bench warrant in February 2024 after probation officials determined Porter had violated those terms. His attorney, Kristina Wildeveld, said the violation stemmed from a December 2023 incident.
Footage showed Porter encouraging his fiancée to confront a woman during a performance in Salt Lake City. Delaney sentenced him to 30 days in jail but credited him for time already served in California.
Porter also faces a $13 million civil judgment after a judge found him liable for damages to Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club. The owner claimed business licenses were revoked following the shooting.
Las Vegas police arrested Porter on a robbery charge in 2024 for allegedly taking a fan’s phone at the Palms. Prosecutors later dismissed the charge following his sentencing in the shooting case.
