Boosie reportedly issues an apology to his daughter, following homophobic comments.
We previously reported while Boosie was being interview by Yung Miami, he opened up about his daughter coming out as a lesbian. Iviona came out as a few years ago, and the rapper says he loves his daughter- however, she can’t bring her partner home as he doesn’t want her to “contaminate” her siblings.
Iviona caught wind of her father’s public comments and issued a response. “I just saw that he recently did an interview with Caresha and he used the word ‘contaminate’ and put my siblings in it at that. If you know me, I love and respect my siblings with everything in me. And they respect me and love me with everything in them.” She added, “When you getting on they nerves, I’m who they call.”
She continued: “Most of my sibling are teenagers — teenagers that you don’t want to see grow up.”
“The incident that happened was in Jamaica…when you called me a gay b-word. So if the world really knew the hurtful things you told me before and I forgave you, you wouldn’t even understand.”
Boosie has since issued a public apology to his daughter, according to reports. “I SAID SOME THINGS N I DIDNT KNOW ITLL HURT U. YO DADDY TRULY SORRY N I HOPE U CAN FORGIVE ME”, he began.
“LIVE N YO TRUTH N JUST KNOW THAT U ALWAYS MY BABY NO MATTER WHAT… ACCEPT MY PUBLIC APOLOGY. DADDY COULDVE SAID IT N A BETTER WAY… U MY BABY N WILL ALWAYS BE DAT #daddybaby HOPE WE CAN TALK”.
