Busta Rhymes has been putting in the work in the gym and it shows.
Recently, the rap legend took to Instagram to reveal the progress of his weight-loss journey. He renewed his commitment to being healthy in 2025.
“THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE WON’T EVER STOP!! NEVVVVVERRRRR!!! GRAND RISING DON’T BLOCK YOUR BLESSINGS AND BE GREAT PEOPLE!!,”Busta wrote on Instagram.
As he continued, he dropped some bars by another hip-hop icon, Slick Rick. In the caption, he quotes lyrics from “La Di Da Di.”
“WENT TO THE BATHROOM TO WASH UP, PUT SOME SOAP ON MY FACE AND MY HAND UPON A CUP. AND SAID A, MIRROR MIRROR IN THE WALL, WHO IS THE TOP CHOICE OF THEM ALL?” he wrote. “IT WAS A RUBBLE DUBBLE 5 MINUTES IT LASTED, THE MIRROR [sic] SAID YOU ARE YOU CONCEITED BASTARD!!’ ( IN MY @therulernyc VOICE).”
2025 is shaping up to be an amazing year for Busta. In June, it was announced that he would be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Prince, The Isley Brothers, Jane Fonda, Nia Long, David Beckham, and Green Day will all receive a star this year.
On Instagram, Bustat shared his gratitude for the prestigious recognition.
“AS YOU WILL CONTINUE TO HEAR IT FROM ME. EVERY SINGLE DAY, THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE WILL NEVER EVER STOP!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH CHOOSING ME TO BE BLESSED WITH SUCH A PRESTIGIOUS ACCOLADE SUCH AS THE HOLLYWOOD STAR ON THE @hwdwalkoffame,” his post read.
