Cardi B Weighs In On ATL Restaurant Customer Service

TikTok food critic, Keith Lee has been causing quite a commotion online with his nationwide food tour. He has been traveling the country to review local restaurants and his most recent stop was in Atlanta. Throughout his time there he has been sharing his negative and positive experiences, with more bad than good. As word spread around of his visit, Cardi B wanted to share her thoughts on the Atlanta dining scene.

“I feel like Atlanta restaurants, they don’t like to make money,” she said in an Instagram Live video. “I feel like they don’t like people, they don’t like they customers, they just don’t f**king like it. You could barely order in Atlanta restaurants.”

The rapper said that when she visits, she has to use her likeness to get service because of how unpleasant restaurants in Atlanta can be.

“It gets to the point that I have to tell people that order food for me, ‘Can you just name-drop my name?’” the Bronx rapper stated. “Because they don’t do no pick up orders, they don’t do deliveries, they just don’t do sh*t.”

The Bronx native compared the dining experience to the one in her home state.

“In New York, a restaurant is going to open up early and going to close so f**king late,” she said. “They’re going to serve you all the mothaf**in’ time.”

Cardi B wasn’t the only celebrity who had something to say about Keith Lee’s visit. One of his stops in Atlanta was Kandi Burruss’ Old Lady Gang restaurant, to which he was not able to be served and explained the fiasco to his followers on TikTok. Once word reached Burruss, she made a statement addressing the claims.

“I just really want to say, I do appreciate Keith Lee for stopping by our restaurant and trying to show us love. It is very unfortunate that we couldn’t serve him and his family,” she said in a video posted on social media.

“On the weekends, we get a lot of community support, people in our city that show up for us, as well as a lot of people from out of town. So, with that being said, we don’t want to overwhelm our kitchen by having to, you know, have such long times for the people who are actually at the restaurant, plus having to do to-go orders.”
