Cardi B and longtime rival Akbar V are once again at odds after a new round of social media posts reignited their years-long feud, sending hip-hop fans into another online frenzy.

The latest exchange began when the Atlanta rapper shared a string of posts suggesting that an unnamed female artist should spend less time on social media and more time in the recording studio. Although Akbar V never identified anyone by name, many fans interpreted the comments as aimed at Cardi B.
The Bronx superstar wasted little time responding.
During an X Spaces livestream on Wednesday, Cardi unleashed a fiery response, rejecting both the criticism and the suggestion that anyone should dictate her career.
“What the f*ck are you telling me to get in the booth?” Cardi said. “Btch, get in the casket. Get in the ditch, b*tch.”

She then pointed to her commercial success while dismissing Akbar’s comments.
“Nobody give a fck about you,” Cardi continued. “B*tch, I’m a f*cking rich ass b*tch. I’m up about $75 million. And you telling me go get in the f*cking booth.”
Cardi closed the rant by reaffirming her independence.
“Don’t tell me what the f*ck to do, b*tch! I’m a f*cking boss!”
Clips from the livestream quickly spread across X, Instagram and other platforms, where fans dissected every remark and debated the latest chapter in the artists’ long-running rivalry.
Akbar V answered within hours, firing back with more than 30 posts on X rather than a single response. The barrage kept the feud trending throughout the night and fueled fresh discussion across hip-hop social media.
Cardi B and Akbar V have traded public insults for years through social media, interviews and livestreams. Their latest confrontation shows neither artist appears ready to let the dispute fade.
While no music has emerged from the exchange, the renewed war of words has again captured the attention of hip-hop fans, proving their rivalry remains one of rap’s most closely watched online feuds.
