Carmelo Anthony is making moves in the wine game.
The NBA legend has announced the release of the latest wines from his global estate brand VII(N) The Seventh Estate.
The newly released wines include a red 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a white 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and a 2022 Côtes Du Rhône.
According to the product description the wines are made from grapes including Shiraz/Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre. The alcohol content of the wine is 14.5%.
On his Instagram, the New York Knicks star recently posted to announce the upcoming release of the collection of three new wines under the ‘Oath of Fidelity‘ category.

The wine retails for $135.
In an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Carmelo discussed how he cultivated his love of wine. He even gave a wine hack for beginners.
“Super useful wine hack. A lot of people that I know like to sniff the court. And I’d only tell you so much to really get you to know a wine. You got to eat the court,” Melo said
“It was, you know, you were drinking other hard liquors. And I used to get laughed at and like, I don’t know what you’re doing, man. You’re drinking wine. You’re too young to know wine. Like, we don’t drink wine. We don’t drink wine. And now it goes from that,” he continued.
