Coi Leray has revealed the first photo of her newborn daughter, Miyoco, marking her public debut as a mother.
The rapper shared the image on Instagram Stories just weeks after giving birth. The photo shows Leray lying beside her daughter, both facing the camera in a quiet, tender moment. The image quickly circulated online, drawing widespread attention across platforms like Instagram and X.

Miyoco, born in June 2025, is Leray’s first child with fellow rapper Trippie Redd. The couple’s history—marked by a volatile and public relationship—has long intrigued fans. With the arrival of their daughter, the spotlight has shifted from controversy to a more grounded narrative of growth and renewed purpose.
Fans responded with enthusiasm. A post from @Rap celebrating the baby’s reveal went viral, with users congratulating the couple and praising Leray for her transparency. In a follow-up tweet, Leray leaned into humor, writing, “Breastfeeding ain’t no joke #pinksweatsuits,” alongside a meme of Leonardo DiCaprio. The post resonated with young mothers and added authenticity to her public portrayal of motherhood.
The Instagram post included “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” from Lilo & Stitch, a callback to her Hello Kitty-themed baby shower in May. The musical choice emphasized a lighthearted and nostalgic tone, offering a softer glimpse into Leray’s personal life.
In an earlier interview with The Shade Room, Leray detailed the meaning behind her daughter’s name. “Miyoco” combines Japanese roots: “miyo,” meaning “beautiful generation,” and “ko,” meaning “child.” The name also reflects both parents—“Mi” from Trippie Redd’s birth name, Michael, and “Co” from Coi.
The name’s origin, suggested by a friend’s sister, speaks to Leray’s intent to create something both unique and lasting. As she continues to evolve in the public eye, motherhood appears to be reshaping her path—not as a departure from fame, but as a deeper extension of it.
