Atlanta rapper Alphonce Smith, known professionally as Cyco Black of Crime Mob, has been released from custody following his arrest in a multi-agency investigation into an alleged stolen electronics operation, according to court records and law enforcement statements.
Prosecutors allege Smith faces both misdemeanor and felony charges, including theft by receiving stolen property, stemming from a series of vehicle break-ins reported across Atlanta. Investigators say victims reported missing laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Several individuals used device tracking tools, which directed officers to a retail location at Metro Mart on Metropolitan Parkway.
Authorities contend the storefront, allegedly operated by Smith, functioned as a resale point for stolen electronics. The probe later expanded to include a warehouse operation. Law enforcement officials report intercepting outbound shipments containing stolen devices destined for international locations, including Hong Kong.

Police state they have recovered more than $100,000 in stolen property to date. The items include laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
Officers also arrested an employee tied to the business, who faces comparable charges. During the execution of a search warrant, investigators recovered additional electronics and marijuana at the Metro Mart site.
The case involves coordination among multiple units, including Atlanta police’s Larceny from Auto Unit, Zone 3 Crime Suppression Unit, and APEX Unit. Authorities confirmed the investigation remains ongoing and now includes federal partners examining broader theft and resale networks. Similar schemes have surfaced across metro Atlanta and in other jurisdictions, including Illinois.
In a statement, defense counsel Nicole Fegan emphasized Smith’s presumption of innocence.
“My client is more than a headline or accusation. He is a person with a family, career, and reputation affected by these claims,” Fegan said.
“He faces charges, yet no conviction. Like anyone in this country, he is presumed innocent and deserves fair treatment.”
She added that the allegations have imposed “real consequences” on Smith and those close to him, urging the public to withhold judgment as the matter proceeds in court.
