Remy Ma is heading to court. The rapper is going to trial for allegedly assaulting fellow ‘Love and Hip-Hop’ castmate Brittney Taylor.
As reported by TMZ, Remy was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, one count of second degree aggravated harassment, and a count of second- degree harassment. It was also reported that Remy had turned down the deal to plead guilty to the assault charge and for the other three accounts to be dropped.
Remy has denied that the incident happened, which took place during a benefit concert in Irving Plaza. Taylor suffered from minor injuries and a black eye. Earlier this month, Remy surrendered to the police and later posted bond for $1,500.
The trial is scheduled to begin on July 12th.
