Davido and Chioma Adeleke have celebrated the grand finale of their love story with a lavish white wedding in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. The glamorous event, tagged online as #Chivido2025, was the last in a series of three ceremonies, following their court marriage in March 2023 and a colorful traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
The Miami celebration was nothing short of extravagant. A clip circulating on social media captured Davido revealing just how much the big day cost. “We’ve spent $3.7 million cash, so we must know what we’re doing,” he said with a smile. Guests were required to dress in black-tie attire, while white and cream were off-limits to keep the focus on the newlyweds.
During the reception, Davido took a moment to pour his heart out to Chioma in front of family and friends. “I’ve been on countless stages, but this is the most nervous I’ve ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You’ve seen the real me, the me the world doesn’t see, and you still chose me,” he told her, holding back tears. He also surprised her with a diamond-covered Richard Mille watch valued at around $300,000.
Their relationship began during their time at Babcock University and became public in 2018 when Davido released the hit song Assurance. He later followed it up with 1 Milli, further sealing their love story in music. Despite facing public scrutiny and rumors of infidelity in 2021, the couple’s connection has remained unshaken.
