Deion Sanders once again reminded everyone that his son Shedeur is off-limits to some NFL franchises.

During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show on Friday (January 10), the Colorado Buffaloes head coach was asked what team he preferred.

Sanders’ mentioned that there was a “couple of teams that I won’t allow him to play for.”

“Have you told him privately who you would like for him to play for?” Hall asked Sanders.

“It’s not like who I would like for him to play for. It’s a couple of teams that I won’t allow him to play for. So it’s not like that,” Sanders responded. “But this is my profession. I know what’s behind the curtain. We ain’t got to get back there for me to understand what’s behind the curtain and what’s not prominent for my son. I’m not doing it.”

“And if he doesn’t listen to you?” Hall asked.

“Who?” Sanders, answered as the crowd laughed. “ No, you must mean the NFL team owners, not my son.”

Shedeur is expected to be a top pick in the NFL Draft along with his teammate Travis Hunter who won the Heisman Trophy.

Hall then asked if Sanders expected to achieve success so quickly in Colorado,

“I don’t want to sound brash or risk tipping this with arrogance, but I expect the best,” he said. “You know,  I don’t expect leftovers. I expect the best and I don’t expect to come in second.

Even with the products I endorse, I give it 100% and I don’t put my name on it unless I stand by it,” Sanders added. “So everything in life, I expect when I walked out here to change the darn temperature. I don’t do anything by chance. “
