Jessie and D’Lila Combs are offering a closer look at their relationship with their father, Sean “Diddy” Combs. They describe him as an “amazing” parent. He remains incarcerated following his federal conviction on prostitution-related charges. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 19-year-old twins spoke about staying connected with their father. They discussed the role he continues to play in their lives. They said Combs has been focused on reflection and personal change. According to them, he is someone working to become “a better man for his family.”
Their comments come as the Combs family continues navigating the aftermath of a highly publicized legal case. According to ET, Combs apologized to Jessie and D’Lila after surveillance footage from 2016 showing an altercation involving his former partner, Cassie Ventura, became public. The footage was first released by CNN and later shown during court proceedings. As a result, it brought significant attention to allegations surrounding Combs’ personal life.
While acknowledging the challenges facing their family, the twins said they are focused on creating careers of their own. Jessie and D’Lila recently launched their fashion brand 12TWINTY1 and its debut “777 Collection.” This marks their first major step into the industry. They said their father has remained supportive of their goals. In addition, they often turn to him for advice as they pursue opportunities in modeling. This is a path they hope will honor their late mother, Kim Porter.

The sisters also addressed assumptions that their family name has made their journey easier. “We’re not nepo babies,” they said, emphasizing that they want their success to come from their own effort and commitment.
