DJ Khaled knows how to make an entrance, and his latest project is no exception. The We the Best mogul has officially announced his 14th studio album, Aalam of God, with a blockbuster seven-minute trailer packed with action, suspense, and star power. Directed by Eif Rivera, the cinematic clip follows Khaled as he fights to protect the album files—especially since the project includes two Drake songs.
Released on Tuesday, February 4th, the cinematic clip places Khaled in the middle of a thrilling heist, fighting to protect his album files—especially since the project includes two Drake songs. As masked assailants attempt to steal the briefcase holding his music, Khaled does his own stunts while making a dramatic escape.
Mark Wahlberg, playing the mastermind behind the heist, questions his team’s failure. “Did you get it?” he asks. “This guy’s two Drake songs on there. What if he’s got another 100-bar from Jay-Z and that thing gets out on the f–king street?”
Khaled thinks he’s safe when he meets up with Anthony Ramos. But his so-called ally double-crosses him during lunch at a Jamaican restaurant. Holding him at gunpoint, Ramos—playing a character named Tone—demands the album. But Khaled stays unfazed. “Look how far we came and you f–king worried about what they saying? You know our saying, ‘Win with us or watch us win,’” he tells Tone before adding, “One more thing, Tone, you a piece of s–t!”
The trailer closes with a snippet of an unreleased track, seemingly titled “God Is on Our Side.” Before hopping on a private jet, Khaled hints at a major feature, saying, “Send Rihanna the record.”
On Instagram, he confirmed Drake’s involvement, writing, “DRAKES BACK TO WORK… SO AM I! THIS THE ONE WITH✌🏽DRAKES.” He also teased Rihanna, tagging Ayo Juan and saying, “matter of fact..send that record over to @badgalriri.”
Aalam of God is set for release in 2025, with Khaled declaring, “This is not my last album, it’s my Black album.”
