The March For Our Lives rally has been making headlines and so has Run The Jewels’ member Killer Mike but for different reasons.
The rapper is catching a lot of heat over his support for the NRA in a video where he’s seen saying he was “very pro-Second Amendment.” In the interview, he says he told his daughters that he did not want them to partake in the march just because everyone else is doing it.
“I told my kids on the school walkout, I love you, if you walkout that school, walkout my house…we are not a family that jumps on every single thing an ally of ours does because some stuff we just don’t agree with.” –@KillerMike #MarchForOurLives pic.twitter.com/Gx8JLntmZ8

The backlash was immediate.
Killer Mike went on his Twitter to apologize for what he said and emphasizes that his words were taken out of context.
Do you agree with his taken on gun control reform?
I hope this clears some stuff up. Love and Respect to all. Part 1 pic.twitter.com/pq977HEG7A
