Doja Cat is one of the many celebrities stepping up to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. She has partnered with the American Red Cross and the San Fernando Valley to launch a limited-edition merchandise collection, featuring T-shirts, hoodies, and posters. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross’s fire relief initiatives. Fashion designer Pini joined forces with Doja to create the merch designs, which depict the rapper-singer riding an outline of California on a surfboard, dressed in a flowing gown that resembles a stream of water.

“Please help me and @americanredcross support my beautiful state of California. 100% of proceeds go to American Red Cross to support the people of California affected by the wildfires,” Doja Cat wrote on Instagram to promote the collection. In another post, she reflected on how Malibu’s Harbor Studios was destroyed by the fires. This was the studio where she recorded her 2023 album Scarlet. “Harbor was taken from so many artists who cared so deeply about Harbor,” she said. “It was a place of musical freedom… a sanctuary in the most literal sense of the word.”

The merch is available for 15 more days, and fans can support by purchasing through the link provided. Other celebrities are also speaking out about the crisis. Tyler Perry expressed frustration with insurance companies, stating, “Does anyone else find it appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years? And then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?”
