Drake is balancing music and business as he drops a new fragrance while working on his next solo album. Through his Better World Fragrance House brand, Drake just introduced his first Eau de Parfum, Summer Mink. The scent is currently available for $148 on the brand’s website and will hit Ulta Beauty stores across North America on May 12th.

To promote Summer Mink, Drake stars in a playful new ad where he dives into the art of fragrance-making. After landing on the final formula, he can be heard saying, “F–k. F–k, that’s good. That’s it. That’s it.” Fans flooded the comments of Better World Fragrance House’s Instagram with support for the commercial. One person wrote, “Bruh actually a good actor you can tell he be having fun doing ts,” while another added, “Drake we need the album asap. I got enemies and fine shyts waiting on me to pop up.”

Summer Mink was developed in collaboration with Michael Carby, senior perfumer at Givaudan. In a press release shared by Billboard, Carby explained the concept behind the scent: “Summer Mink was inspired by a yin-yang principle of fusing warm, creamy base notes with cold spices and sparkling citruses. The ingredient composition was uniquely crafted to reflect a multinational culture with aspirations toward a Better World.”

While fans are eagerly awaiting new music, Drake is making moves in the lifestyle world with this fragrance launch. Summer Mink represents a major step for Better World Fragrance House as it continues building a luxury identity beyond celebrity branding.
