Drake is gearing up to drop a duo project with PARTYNEXTDOOR, giving fans a sneak peek before its official release.
During a recent show on his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia, the Toronto legend shared a glimpse of what’s to come, with the project set to hit streaming platforms on Friday (February 14). “It’s called $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, but it’s some turned up songs for you on there too,” he stated. “And there’s some personal feelings on there for you. So hopefully whoever you’re with on Valentine’s Day, hopefully y’all can share that experience together.” He later shared a sneak peek of a song called “Crying In Chanel” on Instagram. While the tracklist remains under wraps, PND had previously mentioned that the album will feature 15 tracks.
Drake Teases New Solo Project While Reflecting on His Two-Decade Journey
Alongside his collaboration album with PND, Drake is also working on a solo project, which he intends to release “when the time is right.”
During his conversation with fans on the tour’s second night last week, Drake hinted at having exciting news to reveal. He voiced, “Eventually when the time is right, Drizzy Drake alone by himself is gonna have to have a one-on-one talk to y’all.” “When the time is right, I’ll be back with another album — a one-on-one conversation with y’all that you need to hear.” Drake launched the tour on February 4 in Perth. In an emotional moment at the show’s close, the 6 God expressed gratitude to the packed crowd for supporting his career for almost two decades and declared that he’s still, “very much alive.”
He asserted, “My name is Drake. I started doing music in 2008.” “I come all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and no matter what, Drizzy Drake is very much alive and that’s all thanks to you. I love you.”
