Eminem’s family is about to welcome another little one. His 32-year-old daughter, Alaina Scott, revealed on Sunday that she and her husband, Matt Moeller, are expecting their first child together. The couple shared their happy news through a series of photos taken in a field, holding up a tiny baby onesie as they smiled at each other.
In her post, Alaina expressed how deeply the experience has moved her. “THE BEST OF YOU + ME. For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way,” she wrote. “There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear. I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing.” She closed her announcement with, “Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one.”
Alaina and Matt got married in 2023, and this new chapter marks a long-awaited moment for them both. Eminem, now 52, has played a fatherly role in Alaina’s life since she was young. She is the daughter of the late Dawn Scott, who was the twin sister of Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott. In a 2004 Rolling Stone interview, the rapper reflected on their relationship, saying, “I have full custody of my niece. My niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.”
The upcoming arrival will make Eminem a grandfather for the second time. Earlier this year, his younger daughter, Hailie Jade, welcomed her son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, on March 14th. Hailie had previously surprised her dad in a music video by gifting him a Detroit Lions jersey that read “Grandpa” across the back.
