Lil Wayne is officially free from Cash Money and able to release his long-overdue album Tha Carter V!
Back in 2015 Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against record label Cash Money for allegedly refusing to pay the rapper millions of dollars. According to reports not only were they keeping money from Wayne, but they would not release his album Tha Carter V.
After nearly 4 years, court documents have stated that Universal (which owns Cash Money Records) handed Wayne a big check.
