Philly’s Freeway, and Harlem’s own Dave East collaborated on a track titled ‘Hold The Fort Down.’
Both rappers let loose on this record bringing that quality sound of the streets into the music!
“This song is basically me and Dave East doing what we do — holding the fort down for the streets and for the hood,” said Freeway in an interview with Billboard.
Dave East also commented to Billboard saying he’s anxious to hear what people think: “Freeway was somebody I grew up on,” says East. “So to be able to make a record with him was something I always looked forward to. I’m anxious to see how people like it.”
