Future reacts to Young Thug asking for Drake, Future and Metro Boomin’ to squash their beef.
The rapper, who is currently behind bars, tweets “@Drake @1future@MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin..” Thug writes via Twitter.
Future seemingly caught wind of the tweet and reposted it.
We previously reported that Kendrick Lamar joined Future and Metro Boomin on their new album We Don’t Trust You. In one of his verse- he gave the internet something they were not expecting as he raps, “Yeah, get up with me, f*ck sneak dissing/’First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches,” on the single “Like That” taking direct shots at Drake and J. Cole.
“Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Motherfuck the Big 3, n***a, it’s just big me” dissing J. Cole as he rapped, “Love when they argue the hardest MC/Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?”
“We the big three like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali” rapped Cole on Drake’s chart-topping single, First Person Shooter. Obviously- Kendrick disagreed.
The verse seemingly sparked beef between Drake, Future, Metro Boomin’ and Kendrick alarm.
Metro boomin Speaks:
Hopefully, the hip-hop heavy weights are working on a resolution. During a recent interview, Metro was asked about Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s battle. The producer says he believe a little competition is healthy for the culture. He also says he has no ill-feelings towards anyone.
“I have love and respect for all my collaborators,” he asserted. “I just want to see everybody do their best and continue to help push this forward.”
The producer went on to say he feels like the internet took the battle too far by picking a side. “It’s more like Stan culture,” he noted. “It makes it kind of weird.”
