The debate over who won hip-hop’s biggest rap battle involving Drake and Kendrick Lamar continues to spark conversation, and Miami Heat star Giannis Antetokounmpo has made it clear where he leans.
During a recent livestream with streamer N3on, Antetokounmpo weighed in on the long-running rivalry between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. While the NBA star praised both rap heavyweights, he admitted Drake’s recent music changed his perspective.
“I feel like, in the beginning, you say Kendrick,” Antetokounmpo said during the stream.
His opinion shifted after Drake surprised fans with the release of three albums in 2026: “ICEMAN,” “Habiti” and “Maid of Honour.”
“But those three albums that he released, have you listened to all of them? Oh my goodness, oh my goodness,” Antetokounmpo said, praising the ambitious rollout.

The back-to-back releases marked Drake’s first major solo campaign since his headline-making lyrical battle with Kendrick Lamar. The projects dominated streaming platforms and reignited debate over whether the Toronto superstar had reclaimed momentum following one of rap’s most talked-about feuds.
Although Antetokounmpo stopped short of declaring Drake the outright winner, his comments suggested the rapper’s relentless output shifted the conversation. For many fans, Kendrick Lamar still holds the edge because of his widely praised diss records. Others argue Drake answered the criticism by returning with a massive body of work instead of another lyrical exchange.
The rivalry remains one of hip-hop’s defining moments. Its impact stretches beyond music, drawing opinions from athletes, entertainers and online personalities. Antetokounmpo’s appearance with N3on added another high-profile voice to the discussion and quickly generated reactions across social media.
Neither Drake nor Kendrick Lamar has revisited the feud publicly in recent months. Instead, both artists have focused on new chapters in their careers. Even so, fans continue to dissect every release, lyric and milestone, ensuring the debate over rap’s biggest rivalry remains alive long after the final diss tracks landed.
