GloRilla recently had an emotional moment on stage when she was surprised with new gold and platinum plaques recognizing the success of her latest music milestones. The surprise came from Yo Gotti and the CMG team, celebrating the achievements of her GLORIOUS and Ehhthang Ehhthang projects, as well as the “Wanna Be” remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B.
The Memphis rapper couldn’t hold back her excitement as the plaques were presented during a recent show, as seen in a video shared by The Neighborhood Talk. In between cheers and hugs, GloRilla took a moment to show love to her supporters. “I want to thank my fans,” she said, crediting them for her rapid rise in the industry. She also gave a heartfelt shout-out to CMG for always being in her corner, adding, “They push me every day to be great.”
With a massive performance at Coachella already checked off her 2025 to-do list, GloRilla is just getting started. She has more major shows lined up this year, but even with a packed schedule, she’s making space to appreciate how far she’s come. The plaque ceremony offered a rare, reflective pause in an otherwise non-stop grind.
Still, with all the success comes plenty of attention and rumors. Fans are buzzing about her rumored connection with Speedy Morman after the two joked around online. Their flirty exchange, which started after their interview together, left some fans convinced they might be more than friends. But most signs point to the duo just playing along with the internet’s curiosity.
Regardless of the headlines, one thing is for sure, GloRilla is staying focused, grateful, and determined to keep leveling up.
