Halle Bailey has since acknowledged that she may have overreacted after calling out her ex-boyfriend, DDG, in a recent rant on X (formerly Twitter).

As previously reported, Bailey expressed her frustration after DDG, the father of their 10-month-old son, Halo, featured the child on a livestream with popular streamer Kai Cenat on November 6. Bailey took to X to voice her displeasure, writing, “I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions without my consent.” She added, “I am his mother and protector, and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”

She has since deactivated and reactivated her X account. She writes, “yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. i know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. thank u kai for the gifts for halo..”

The couple recently revealed that they have decided to part ways. Last month, DDG shared a statement online announcing that he and Halle Bailey have chosen to “go our separate ways.”

“After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the rapper wrote. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.”
