Drake is a jokester!
The rapper is in Europe, and while in Saint-Tropez with his team, he posted a video trolling Joe Budden.
It’s interesting because the two are “frienemies.” They’ve thrown jabs at each other over the years. Things heated up when Joe called Drizzy’s 2016 Views “uninspiring.” Drake clapped back in “No Shopping” when he rapped:
“Pump, pump pump it up. … I’m not a one-hit wonder, they know all my stuff. You let me turn into the nigga that you almost was.”
Their rap beef isn’t too crazy; Drake seemed to be in good spirits during the trolling. In the footage, Drake spotted a man dancing to Latto’s (formerly known as, Mulatto) 2021 banger, “Big Energy.” The man was doing some interesting footwork to the song, and Drizzy said, “Latto got this man losing his top,” as he laughed in the video.
In another video Drake posted, the man started dancing to Joe Budden’s 2003 hit, “Pump It Up,” off the 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack. In the caption, Drake wrote,
“Where else? Where else, Joey, would you have them going so crazy? They’re going so nuts. Then he said, “@joebudden live in Tropez asap. OVO member Chubb’s reaction caught the attention of social media. Take a look:
Chubbs is Drake’s “muscle,” as the Canadian rapper told Complex in 2011. The 6 god rapper said,
“Everybody wants to poke and jab at Drake because they don’t feel like he will throw back. But nobody around here is going to let something happen to him at any time, especially me. I’m not ever going to let nothing happen to him. If it’s going to happen it’s going to happen to me first.”
