Ice Cube has made it clear: any claims that he supports Donald Trump or aligns with the MAGA movement are entirely false. Despite not endorsing a candidate in this year’s election, the rap icon has faced speculation about his political leanings. Speaking to Baller Alert in a recent interview, he set the record straight, leaving no room for doubt.

“People who think I’m MAGA or a Trump supporter… that I went out there and voted for the Republicans… they got me f##### up,” he declared.

The N.W.A. legend explained that these rumors trace back to his involvement in Trump’s controversial “Contract With Black America” initiative during the 2020 election cycle. Ice Cube clarified that his role was strictly to advocate for addressing racial inequality, emphasizing he never endorsed Trump or any other politician.

“Both parties came to me,” Cube shared. “I discussed it with the Democrats, discussed it with the Republicans.” While Biden’s campaign deferred conversations until after the election, Trump’s team expressed interest in integrating parts of his ideas into their “Platinum Plan.”

However, Ice Cube refuted the notion that the plan was his creation. “That was done in their own think tank,” he said. “People are saying that was my plan, but that’s not the truth.”

He reiterated that he never met or spoke with Trump directly about the proposal, pushing back against critics who questioned his decision to engage with the administration.

“Every side is the Darkside for us here in America,” Cube tweeted in October 2020. “

They’re all the same until something changes for us. They all lie, and they all cheat, but we can’t afford not to negotiate with whoever is in power. Our justice is bipartisan.”

Beyond politics, Ice Cube is preparing to drop his long-awaited eleventh studio album, Man Down. Described as a return to his roots, the project promises to deliver the raw, unfiltered hip-hop that cemented his legacy.

“This album is for my Day 1s,” Cube said. “No b#######, hardcore hip-hop.”

Man Down is set to release this Friday, November 22, and fans are eager to hear what the West Coast pioneer has in store.
