It looks like Ja Rule is officially getting off scott free when it comes to having any liability in the Fyre Festival.

Earlier this year, the story of the infamous failure of a festival were back in the limelight as both Hulu and Netflix produced documentaries discussing the story. In those documentaries, many people began to learn how involved Ja Rule was in the makings of the festival.

A decision was made in July that Ja Rule would not be held liable in an Fyre Festival claims, which was later appealed by the plaintiffs. The Queens rapper learned this weekend that an appeals court will not hear the case.

His lawyer, Ryan Smith released a decision.

“In July, the Court dismissed all Fyre Festival claims against Mr. Atkins. After this loss, plaintiffs’ law firm Geragos & Geragos appealed that decision. Today, the Court denied their appeal. This ruling is nothing short of a total vindication of Mr. Atkins. -Ryan Hayden Smith attorney for Jeffrey Atkins p/k/a Ja Rule.”

His partner Billy McFarland was sentenced to six years in prison in 2018 on multiple counts of fraud.
