Houston Rockets star Jalen Green and model-entrepreneur Draya Michele are opening up about the early days of their relationship—and the NBA guard isn’t shy about who made the first move.
During a recent appearance on Whistle’s “Home Team” relationship quiz, the couple playfully tested how well they know each other. One of the lighthearted questions asked was who slid into whose DMs first, and without hesitation, Green owned up to it: he was the one who initiated contact.
The moment sparked laughter between the two, as Draya smiled while confirming Jalen’s answer. Their fun-loving chemistry throughout the segment was evident as they joked about everything from driving habits to basketball trivia.
Despite the scrutiny their relationship has faced—particularly due to their 17-year age gap—the couple seems unfazed. In fact, Draya has leaned into the humor of their dynamic as when the couple was asked who is the better driver between the two- Draya says she’s had a “drivers license [his] whole life.”
Green and Michele share one child together. On Father’s Day, the couple officially introduced their baby girl to the world. The couple shared the first public photos of their daughter, Lyght Green, in a touching Father’s Day tribute.
In a series of Instagram photos posted by Jalen, the proud father posed alongside Lyght in coordinating Burberry outfits. The sweet snapshots, which included moments of the toddler confidently standing on her own, were captioned, “Fatherhood but make it fashion @burberry dad #ad.” Draya joined in the celebration by reposting the photos on her Instagram Stories, adding, “My daughter @lyghtgreen says hello.”
