Jay Z Appears To Calm Denzel Washington Down At A Heated Lakers Game

A video is going viral of Jay Z and Denzel Washington.

In the footage, Hov appears to diffuse an intense situation between Denzel and someone on the sidelines. The actor was going off; Jay Z stepped in and calmed Denzel down. Then you see them smile and wrap their arms around each other before returning to their seats.

The Jasmine Brand points out that Denzel and Jay Z were at LeBron’s historic game earlier this week, where he became NBA’s leading scorer. He beat Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 38,388 points. Kareem attended the game and celebrated the incredible moment alongside King James! 

Earlier this week, Jay Z also spoke about his wife Beyoncè not getting album of the year at the Grammys during a recent interview with Tidal’s Elliott Wilson. Jay-Z said “look what it’s done to the culture. Look how the energy of the world moved. They play her whole album in the club. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that. The whole entire joint—like, everything?! Every remix is amazing. Everyone’s inspired. It has inspired the world. Every remix is better than the other one.”

He continued, “when it just inspires creativity, that’s an album. That has to be Album of the Year. It has to be.” Nonetheless, Queen Beyoncè had a historic night with the most Grammy wins in history.
