Jay-Z and Beyoncé are reportedly outraged after Kanye West, also known as Ye, launched a vulgar attack on their youngest children in a social media tirade.
A source close to the couple revealed they find his remarks “shocking” and have no intention of tolerating such behavior. The “Stronger” rapper, now known as Ye, made crude comments about their 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, in a series of all-caps posts on X. He later deleted them but reposted his statements early Wednesday morning.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé, married since 2008, are discussing their next steps. While they prefer to handle matters privately, legal action remains an option. According to an insider, they are weighing their response carefully but have no plans to publicly acknowledge Ye’s comments.
Despite deleting his post, the 47-year-old rapper made it clear he did not act out of remorse. “I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s family down … because there was a possibility of my Twitter being canceled,” he admitted.
Representatives for Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Kanye have yet to comment.
West’s inflammatory statements have sparked backlash beyond Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s circle. His ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, is reportedly “appalled” by his language, especially when it involves children.
A source close to Kardashian shared that she has reached her limit, saying, “Kim has had enough, and she’s done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication.”
The Skims founder considers his posts “shocking and offensive,” believing that no matter the tensions between Ye and Jay-Z, children should never be dragged into their disputes.
West has a history of making controversial statements, but his latest outburst has struck a particularly sensitive nerve. As tensions rise, Jay-Z and Beyoncé are determined to protect their family, while Kardashian refuses to engage with her former husband’s antics.
Whether Ye faces legal consequences or public condemnation, his actions continue to alienate those once closest to him.
