Travis Scott has caused a bit of a stir among many of his peers once he announced that he will be performing at this year’s Super bowl Halftime Show with Maroon 5. One of those peers in particular is Jay-Z. Reportedly, the multi-award winning rapper is trying to convince Scott to opt out of performing at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show.
Like many other artists, Jay-z has shared his views about the NFL pertaining to former San Francisco 49er’s quarterback, Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick was the first player to kneel to protest against police violence and racial injustice during the national anthem. Jay-z criticized NFL on not offering Kaepernick a job since he opted out of his contract in 2016.
