Jeezy alleges Jeannie Mai is tarnishing his reputation because he opposed having a second child.

According to TMZ, Jay Wayne Jenkins (commonly known as Jeezy) has submitted new legal documents amid his contentious divorce proceedings with television personality Jeannie Mai, following recent allegations of domestic violence and child neglect.

In the latest legal filings, the “Put On” rapper, who shares a two-year-old daughter named Monaco with Jeannie, rebuts all claims of violence against her. Further he contends that if he had been abusive, Jeannie would never have pursued having a second child.

Jeezy also alleges that after informing Jeannie of his intent to file for divorce in June, she sought out IVF specialists to conceive, a plan he opposed. Reversing allegations of abuse, the rap pioneer, who wed Jeannie in 2021, asserted that if anyone had displayed volatility and violence, it was her, implying that she is more accustomed to being with docile men.

The new allegations surface shortly after Jeezy clarified his pursuit of primary custody for his daughter.

In court documents obtained by TMZ last month, it was reported that the rapper, initially seeking primary custody, amended his request. According to the documents, the 46-year-old alleges that he and his estranged partner had an informal custody arrangement that fell apart early in 2024. Since then, he claims to have had limited contact with his daughter.

“The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart” the Georgia rapper previously said in a statement regarding the couple’s decision to go their separate ways. “Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”

He continued, “Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves. During this period, I kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy as we focus on healing.”
